The
nDXT+, 1km range, Remote Trainer enables the handler to simply and accurately address their dog with an appropriate correction, according to the misdemeanour, without the dog realising that the correction is coming from his collar. The dog needs to think that the tone/vibration or level of correction is associated with the trainer’s voice command or whistle and is a warning of something “out there” which needs to be avoided. The correction is startling enough to get the dogs attention and make them return to the handler for praise and attention.
This Kit comes with an nDXT+ handset, which can be simply changed to enable the simultaneous exercising of up to
three dogs. It also comes with a Medium/Large Dog Collar, ideally suited for medium to large dog breeds like a Labrador or Boxer and up (Weight guide of 10kg and above). Remember the collar that comes with the kit has a charger, but be sure to select the collar option ‘With Charger’ if you want more, or it is a different collar (some collars have different chargers).

This is excellent price of kit. I prefer to call it an educational collar. This is not a quick fix to train a dog, as you have to put the training in with your dog. I was at a loss with my cocker spaniel that just wanted to chase scent nose down and would ignore me. After 2 short sessions this stopped and know the spaniel is working with me rather than against me. I have been using the E-Collar for approx 4 weeks and I rarely have to use it. It's just there just in case! I would strongly recommend this but be sure you know how to use the system. If you are unsure about it I suggest you try it on yourself first to fully understand the tool!

RyanThe reason I purchased one is that my six year old bitch decided that on a shoot day she was going to speed up the drive. Why take half an hour when she could have the job done in two minutes? Im not joking about the speed of work rate! She was a phenomenal worker just not for me. I had seen others using the collar but had thought that I could just train her out of it. I was amazed at efficacy of one use. All the training returned. She became the dog I had three years ago when I was considering competing with her. She makes a tiny little squeak which would instantly disqualify her from the competition. I am now using the collar to eliminate this noise. She is complying remarkably well. The buzz is really effective. I wish that I had discovered it years ago. It doesnt replace good training but it is a useful reminder. Other beaters have sidled up to me to ask about how I have managed to convince my little girl to work with me!

I use it out beating when Im out of sight of my dog in heavy cover and there is a road to cross. Ive found the buzz is all I need to remind the dog to stop hunting and listen to my whistle. After sales emailed question was answered very quickly. My only thought is that I should have bought the small dog collar as although my girls are all over 10kg, this collar unit is quite chunky on a working cocker spaniel. Ill probably order another smaller collar and keep this as a spare.

Les LeesonI purchased a PACDOG training system on the advice of my wonderful dog trainer when I reached the end of my tether over no recall in my three year old Labrador dog. Used with my trainers guidance, I now have an obedient dog who automatically stops and looks for instruction when game runs or flies up in front of him. He is happy because he is trusted (well - sort of) off lead so has more freedom, and I no longer have to wait for 30-40 minutes until he decides to come back to me. His retrieving has also improved, even though the collar has never been employed during retrieve. Having used a long dummy period, he gets really excited when he sees the collar because that means he is going out! I am delighted with my purchase.

James McNeilIt’s nearly 20 years since I bought my first pac trainer. Not needed it for the last 5 years and although the Tx still functioned the collar batteries had leaked. PAC still offered me a trade in discount ! System works pretty much as the old one . My current youngster needed telling not to chase livestock. Only need telling once for the horses and sheep, deer are work in progress but he certainly gives up the chase when you can catch the right moment . Most often it’s just the buzzer to reinforce voice and whistle for normal obedience. It really is a fantastic system for any dog that you want off the lead in the countryside.

HTMy gundog trainer told me of this system as my spaniel was legging it after a scent and completely ignoring any command as the chase took over his tiny mind. After one session with the collar reinforcing the whistle (only if he ignored it) he improved drastically. I then didn't need it again until a herd of sheep moved in at the back of our garden. Again, the prey drive took over, and he became fixed on the sheep's every move. My trainer lent me the device (after a lesson), and again - I now have far greater control in the extreme prey drive situations as it gives me security of getting my dog to listen in a potentially dangerous situation. I also think it makes me a better handler, as I feel I MUST give the dog the chance to listen and behave, so therefore I must also ensure I am clear with my whistle commands to give him every chance of being a good boy.

A good product with comprehensive instructions on how to use the product. I tested the stimulus on myself first and chose a setting that I felt would get my dogs attention without being cruel or harmful. The first time that I used it when she took off to chase a Roe deer and she stopped immediately and came straight back to me where she got lots of praise. There is a problem with transmitter communication with the collar if there is not clear unobstructed line of sight.

This collar is the best money I have spent on my dog. Walks used to be stressful and not enjoyable with her constantly on the lookout for cats and other small furry creatures and when she saw one she would just go and no amount of conventional training could stop this behaviour. Since using the collar, both me and my dog are much happier as we can walk virtually anywhere without the worry of her running off. I don't usually need to use more than the vibrate function to snap her out of 'the zone' and she is a much happier dog. It's like she now realises what I want from her and we are enjoying much more freedom on our walks. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Anyone who knows terriers in general but particularly Patterdales will know once a female has took a dislike to another female, your in trouble, but the collar has given peace of mind and the dogs time to bond ! Safe in the knowledge that if there is an attack I can 100% stop it from a distance if needed . Great service and prompt delivery highly recommend

Having bought this training system a couple of weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend, Ive been really impressed with it. I use it out beating when Im out of sight of my dog in heavy cover and there is a road to cross. Ive found the buzz is all I need to remind the dog to stop hunting and listen to my whistle. After sales emailed question was answered very quickly. My only thought is that I should have bought the small dog collar as although my girls are all over 10kg, this collar unit is quite chunky on a working cocker spaniel. Ill probably order another smaller collar and keep this as a spare.

The reason I purchased one is that my six year old bitch decided that on a shoot day she was going to speed up the drive. Why take half an hour when she could have the job done in two minutes? Im not joking about the speed of work rate! She was a phenomenal worker just not for me. I had seen others using the collar but had thought that I could just train her out of it. I was amazed at efficacy of one use. All the training returned. She became the dog I had three years ago when I was considering competing with her. She makes a tiny little squeak which would instantly disqualify her from the competition. I am now using the collar to eliminate this noise. She is complying remarkably well. The buzz is really effective. I wish that I had discovered it years ago. It doesnt replace good training but it is a useful reminder. Other beaters have sidled up to me to ask about how I have managed to convince my little girl to work with me!

This is excellent price of kit. I prefer to call it an educational collar. This is not a quick fix to train a dog, as you have to put the training in with your dog. I was at a loss with my cocker spaniel that just wanted to chase scent nose down and would ignore me. After 2 short sessions this stopped and know the spaniel is working with me rather than against me. I have been using the E-Collar for approx 4 weeks and I rarely have to use it. It’s just there just in case!
I would strongly recommend this but be sure you know how to use the system. If you are unsure about it I suggest you try it on yourself first to fully understand the tool!

The PAC system for training dogs of all breeds and all sizes is quite honestly a no brainer. So simple and safe to use with absolutely no harm coming to the dogs. My 2 dogs, a young and very active German Shepherd and the other, a very active even younger labrador are truly well trained and well behaved in all circumstances. When the collars come out the excitement grows as they know they are in for play, exercise, training or extensive walks. Can’t really speak highly enough about the system.

We discovered that we had ordered a trainer that was too big for our small lurcher. Aisling at Pacdog was absolutely superb in dealing with us. A smaller unit was supplied and I cannot speak too highly of the customer service.
