Our Bark Control collar is the most humane & highly effective model on the market, designed to give your dog a vibration or tone pre-warning, then a distracting static stimulation to stop nuisance barking instantly. After a few corrections, the dog will realise that the correction is caused by the barking, and resist the urge to nuisance bark at normal neighbourhood activities. Then in some cases, if required the bark collar can be set to level 0 which is vibration only.
The bark controller detects the vibration of the vocal cords as your dog barks. The first cycle of barking is stimulation-free. If barking continues excessively the collar will repeat the warning which will be accompanied by a single static pulse (at a pre-selected stimulation level) every 4 seconds until the barking activity subsides.
The PAC Bark Controller Collar comes pre-set with vibration and correction level 2 as standard, this correction level is similar to the ‘static’ you get when you touch a car door, it’s just above most dog’s comfort zone so it distracts the dog to stop excessive barking but, if needs be, can go up to level 8 for very headstrong dogs.
Owners can plan ahead on how to train their dog in avoiding nuisance barking. For example, we have customers that put the collar on every night consistently. This will change the dog’s behavioural pattern. After a few weeks, they will remove the bark collar and are satisfied with the result. Others do a weekly refresher, which is very effective because it will remind the dog about the training. However, some dog owners leave the bark collar on at times when they go out or they know the dog will start barking. It is all dependent on the dog’s drive when it comes to persistent barking. Avoid leaving the PAC Bark Controller Collar on your dog for over 12 hours per day and wash the dog’s neck area weekly.

The only downside is if the dog itches while the collar on it can go off, so I set the it to vibrate once they know not to bark with it on, but that is down to the midges in summer.

We have been so pleased with the results of using the bark collars on both dogs. Over successive lockdowns their barking and anxiety has become worse. The collars worked within days to let the dogs know that constant barking is not okay. Now they happily get by with just vibrate mode and are able to bark a few times to let everyone know they’re there, then they relax and calm down. Especially good for our lurcher who was constantly full of adrenaline “protecting” us from everyone who walked past our garden. We bought 6 of these collars for our dogs and found that their performance was very uneven. Some work well, while others don’t work at all and one shocked our dog when she was just running, not barking at all. This has happened a few times so we’ve taken it off her.

I ordered one of the collars for our dog, but befire it arrived we realised it’s not how we needed to train our rescue who is v sensitive. We didn’t open the product at all and promortly repackaged it to get it sent back with in their strict 1 week refund policy. Sent it recorded and signed for. The first delivery attempt- no one in. Rebooked it for the following week. THEY REFUSED the parcel. That’s the reason Royal Mail gave me. They refused it- so no delivery to them no refund. It’s straight up fraud.
Also during that week I tried to make contact with people from the company to ask the refund process and explain we were returning it unopened. Barely got two sentences back and no help.
They do not allow you to exercise your consumer rights. I will be copying and pasting this review everywhere

These collars are really good, and work well, would be better if they came with a neon tester to make sure you have the correct setting, although you can tell it is bleeping when you rub the test area, there is no way to know if you have settings right unless you test on yourself,

Our large dog would bark incessantly while we were out, or even when I was working in the garden. I could watch and listen to him on my phone using a security camera in the house. I tried the PAC anti-barking collar on the recommended initial setting. It gave him quite a nip so I wouldn’t recommend starting on anything other than recommended setting. First of all this really does work!!!!!
The unit is really well made and robust and waterproof , I did have to contact company about some advise and within the hour I had a response and all is well, now thats customer service)

Within a week my dog has ceased bad habits of barking during the night for attention and also at any passing noise. It had become a real issue disturbing sleep and also over warranted excited barking periods during the day. My dog is a GSP that I work also in the season so barking when not required is a real nuisance – 5 days and sorted – marvellous!
